Upon moving to Colorado in 2007, I began to venture into the Front Range Mountains and take numerous trips into the backcountry. I can't explain just how overwhelming all this was having come from the midwest. My images were simply to reflect the beauty and ruggedness of this place. Over time my images improved, yet not quit reaching the level of many pros who had been working at this for years while I was working in editorial, corporate and commercial work. I am extremely pleased though with my growth, handling the extreme weather conditions and creating images that present my vision of what I admire and enjoy most while in nature.
